Terfyn Pella Caravan Park has been owned and run by the same family since 1947. Unlike other sites which have changed hands several times, this is a business which is now looked after by the third generation of the family.
Started by Lionel and Sarah Anne Burton, it is currently run by daughter Anne and her son Stewart and daughter Diane.
The team are passionate about plants and flowers. The flowers on display throughout the year are fantastic starting with the early blooming daffodils moving to summer flowering dahlias and then the autumnal colours.
The site is ideally located on the North Wales Coast and has the benefit of a fantastic micro climate and records show that there is more sun and less rain than the surrounding areas. The ability to grow passion fruits and figs outdoor is proof of this fact. We are easily reachable from the major cities of Manchester, Liverpool and Birmingham but have both fantastic countryside and stunning coastline just minutes away. In recent years the waters just off the beaches have become a haven for wildlife and fish. Seals and dolphins can now regularly be seen and the promenade running all the way along the coast is an ideal way to get about. We encourage everyone who is able to have a bicycle as a ride along the front is an ideal way to keep fit and unwind. Inland is brilliant walking country and the Clwydian Range and the Offa’s Dyke Path are just minutes away. Prestatyn also has its own walking festival.
